Once again I am very late in posting these awards which were passed on to me by Jay. Thank you Jay. Just checked out your comments in my first award post and saw these beautiful awards waiting for me. Thank you so much. The feeling is really great to receive these beautiful awards... Blogging world is like one big family... Away from my blog for so long and losing touch with such wonderful people here made me restless... I can say I had to steal a few hours today to loggin  today. Life is so magical... some people whom we have never met nor know them so well yet we remember them.. The same thing is happening with me nowadays. I am always concerned about the blog posts of my blogger friends.... Its like ki arre aaj na jaane kaunsi recipes post kiye honge sab ne.. and sometimes when I do login for a while to check out the recipes I get equally restless to try out those yummy recipes. However nowadays meri badluck hi bad chal rahi hai.. Just getting frustrated sometimes.... Chalo koi nahi this phase too shall pass. Thank you all my blogger friends. All your comments and wishes have really encouraged me to post more often. It really feels good to receive such appreciations.. I know my thanks is coming lill late but as you all know I am somewhat a late lateef blogger. Certain unavoidable work assignments had kept me on my toes and its going to get more worse.... this and the next month.

However there are many things that I am very desperate to post. Insha allah will post it soon enough. Just need more prayers from you all...

Yay!!! That's My First Award

"Itni shiddat se mainay tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai..... ki saare zamane ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai...." That was the first thought that came to my mind after receiving this award.. Well I am a lill late in posting up this award ( lill late means a week late, I'd received this award last friday :-p ) The month of march is just so busy for me that I was just away from my blog for a long time..... This award gave me a reason to be back with my blog...

I would like to thank Indu of Indu gets cooking for giving me this award. This being my first award is very special to me and so is Indu who gave it to me.. Thank you dear... Thanx a lot. Wish you were near.. I would have really dished up something great for you... ;-D   (My people are scared of my experiments in the kitchen, would love to try it on you)

Life In Diaries

Life in diaries...  Diaries have always been an important part in my life. Earlier when in school it would be made out of scrap papers to note down homework for the day. In college it would be usually to note down my feelings about life... Sometimes it would be writing down good quotes that I came across. When my mom went for Haj and when she usually had to stay with my dad that time I used diary to note down daily expenses. After my college my diary turned into my daily planner - writing down all the things for the day

Its like I developed some kind of attachment with diaries in my life. Therefore today while cleaning my cupboards I came across all these diaries that were a part of my life. I still wonder for what purpose I had kept them still and after going through them got a smile on my face. Me the 'raddiwali' of my family. Though they hold lots of beautiful memories and I was really happy to have them all back but my people won't allow me to collect any more such stuff which they think is of no use anymore. They don't understand the emotional values attached to it. Therefore before giving them out to the actual raddiwala I decided to click their pics and post it on my blog where they will serve as my memories for ever....

Tea Cosy

During winters it feels special when tea is served this way. A tea cosy makes a simple breakfast special. It gives a cosy romantic feel. Would love even more having tea served this way near a fireplace. WOW!!! I love fireplaces, but mumbai doesn't needs one, does it? :-(

This pattern is again from a marathi pattern book given to me by archana didi. She too had made this type of cosy and I instantly fell in love with it.. I used all the scrap yarns to make this.
