I love baking cakes but personally I am very much fond of this healthy alternative to cakes. Rod spelt as road. This recipe is again from my mom's side. We have grown up eating this healthier version of cake. Well it is tasty as well as nutritious.
RECIPE:
Ingredients:
Eggs = 4
Ghee or butter = 100 gms
Rava (suji) = 250 gms
Powdered sugar = 3/4 cup
Baking soda = 1 tsp
Jalebi food color = a pinch
Khas khas to put over it.
Method:
1. Mix rava and ghee togather and keep it for half to one hour.
2. Beat eggs till fluffy.
3. Later mix eggs, powdered sugar, baking soda, jalebi food color into rava and ghee mixture.
4. Transfer the contents into the mould. Put khas khas over it and bake for 30 mins.
